How can small green spaces in the city contribute to building individual and collective wellbeing and resilience?
The Stadsoever Eindhoven is a pilot project exploring how we can inhabit the Dommel river bank in ways that help us build personal and collective health and resilience in the city.
In May/June 2022 a the Stadsoever Summer program took place, with focus on learning resilience skills and growing the public's awareness of the small green areas in the centre, along the Dommel. The Summer program brought wonderful contributions from local and regional resilience makers, among others: Annemieke van Diepen, Julia Heij, Eleanor G Mazzini, Klaudi Asbreuk and Joshua Snijders. Collaboration and project set-up
The program has been developed in collaboration with Paul van der Velden, from Foundation Nature For Health. This project has been made possible by Cultuur Eindhoven. It is part of the initiative De Stap naar gezonder of the municipality of Eindhoven. The project was implemented with the expertise and support of the events, permits and area management teams. |
